16 MIN Power Core Sculpt + 20 MIN Cardio Power Jump

Level: All Levels, Intermediate
Focus : 

16 minutes of concentrated core toning for stronger abs, then 20 minutes to jump and pick up that heart rate. Work on your teaser, your roll over, your side planks and more. Flatten low belly, draw in and up. Your jumps will increase your power and control while burning and toning abs, core and all lower body. You’ll also get some upper body work in during your jump board session.

This is day 3, week 4, of our Summer Fit Program!

Remember if you do not have the equipment required, simply choose one of our prior sculpt and cardio sessions to make sure you don’t miss a class this week.

Equipment Needed : 

For Part 1: Your Mat and spine corrector. Part 2: Reformer, jumpboard, box and booty band. You can do the workout without both box and band, so the most important is the Reformer and the jump board.

The Course of this Class :

We start nice and easy with the hips elevated getting into those low abs, flattening out that belly. Want to work on your teaser? Here is your chance, using the spine corrector to assist this is a great way to strengthen your teaser. Next, we’ll challenge and fire up those obliques into some more challenging hold positions. After this quick core class we move over to the Reformer to heat up our booty and legs, while increasing the heat in the whole body. Have fun using the box the entire time we jump today to find a deeper core connection during your hang time. Jumps will cover all planes, challenging balance, upper and lower body.

Class Level : 

Intermediate level taught today but class encouraged for all levels to try. Remember to listen to your body. You can always take pauses or increase pace or weight to up challenge.

Goals : 

Get stronger core and abs, sculpt and define abs. Improve certain skills like teaser and roll overs. Flatten stomach. Burn fat and calories. Tone booty, hips and thighs while burning excess. Power in legs. Control and stability in abs. Improve coordination and athletic ability in quick movements. Increase metabolism. Foot and ankle strength. Feel confident and strong.
