23 MIN Bendy & Flexy + 23 MIN Flying Rebound Reboot

Focus : 

A 23 minute free flowing, fluid and fun Reformer flow to open the heart and hip flexors while stretching and lengthening the legs. Next, 23 minutes of core strength followed by single leg bouncing to high flying jumps. This rebound session will increase your blood and oxygen flow, boost your metabolism, improve your mood, and cleanse and strengthen your cells. Plus you’ll work power in your lower body to jump higher, while improving your posture as you float in the air. A great all around workout for better well being, posture, strength and flexibility.

This is day 2, week 4, of our Summer Fit Program!

Remember the rule of thumb: if you are lacking the equipment used today, repeat one of our prior mat classes from the Summer Fit program or choose your own cardio activity right after our bendy and flexy session.

Equipment Needed : 

For Part 1: Your Reformer only. For Part 2: a trampoline.

The Course of this Class :

Join me in one of my own personal flows that I often do when just looking for openness and free flow and expression on the Reformer. This session includes lots of lunges and splits and spinal articulation. The focus will be to open the anterior chain of the body and lengthen hamstrings and areas that are often tight. You’ll finish feeling stretched, open and rid of any tensions or soreness. Then, over on the trampoline it’s a rebounding session to reboot energy and have fun. You’ll start with some core conditioning to set in our abs for our stability around our spine before we stand it up on the trampoline mat. Lots of single leg bouncing and swings to free up flow and improve balance, power and strength. Get ready to bounce high and fly for some fun loving high kicks, starfishes and other jump sets. This improves leg power, agility, full body posture, and cell and lymphatic cleansing.

If you don’t have a trampoline think about getting one, or head out for a hilly walk or repeat one of our prior mat tabata sessions.
