30 MIN Deep Core Sculpt + 10 MIN Total Tabata Sweat

Focus : 

30 minutes of deep core sculpting 360 degrees around the spine using the foam roller. Next, a 10 minutes Tabata cardio high intensity training to continue that lean muscle tone build while burning calories and trimming. You have a choice today of 2 or 3 rounds of tabata! Test your stamina and endurance, this is our last week of our Summer Fit!

You made it to day 1, week 12, of our Summer Fit Program congrats, 3 last workouts to go!

Equipment Needed : 

For Part 1: Your Mat and a foam roller. Remember if you do not have the roller you can use a rolled up beach towel, or you may also select a prior workout for which you have the equipment. Part 2: a jump rope and a stair, a step or a box. If you do not have anything but the floor you will also be able to adjust for that, join us!

The Course of this Class :

We will start with a gentle warm-up and massaging out of the upper back. Next get ready to move into our core sculpt part of class. Using the foam roller in different positions and directions we will tune into the feedback it provides to our alignment and muscular engagement around the spine. We’ll get in some side lying leg work as well and some love for the obliques. Focus on your breath, centering, control, and precision of movement throughout class. Next, stay with us for our tabata class. You’ll choose between 2 or 3 rounds depending on the time you have. Know that 2 rounds is plenty, but if you want to go an extra mile today for a last hurrah I’ve included a 3rd round. You’ll hit hips, glutes, legs, core and arms and shoulders. Test your stamina and your endurance and see how much you have progressed since the beginning of this program!
