Booty got Back Balance & Resistance

*Equipment Needed : Resistance Band and Mat.
Focus : Improve your standing balance and booty strength; increase your hip, leg, ankle, and upper back strength.
Class Level : Intermediate.
The Course of this Class : How is your balance? Did you know balance when not practiced is lost? What about your booty strength? Kristi will challenge our standing balance using the resistance band, working our glutes, hips, legs, ankles and feet through weight shift and single leg balancing. We’ll work alignment, strength, length, and centering. She will then challenge our upper back and shoulder strength in order to bring us more upright.
Goals : We want to develop a stronger and more flexible hip complex so that we have a healthier gate, no low back pain, and good balance. This prevents injury but also improves sports performance. Our glutes are a huge muscle, they should be strong and very functional. But this isn’t just about booty strength, our legs, our back and our shoulders should all be strong in supporting us through space as we move. This session is meant to chip away at achieving a more whole body balance and strength.
