Build + Burn: HIIT Jumpboard Power Reformer Class Combo

Level: Advanced, All Levels, Beginner, Intermediate

FOCUS :   

This class combines weight lifting with cardio jumps. If you want to build and maintain strong bones as well as build and maintain lean muscle mass, weights are important to add to your training. This is done in a safe environment respecting ideal alignment. Weights will not make you bulky, rather help you lean and tone. The jumping will add cardio to help burn excess unwanted stored fat, again striving towards that lean muscle mass.

Today focuses predominantly on lower body with a bit of core and upper body woven in.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED : 

Reformer + jump board + sitting box + 1 set heavier dumbbells (go with what is appropriate for your level of practice).

CLASS LEVEL :     

All levels. Modify as you need to adjust to your level.

GOALS :     

Build and maintain strong bones. Build and maintain lean muscle mass while burning unwanted excess fat stores in the body. Shape and tone and then let your workout keep working for you even after you finish! Boost your cardiovascular strength and improve your stamina both cardiovascular and the stamina in your muscles. Work lower body, legs, hips, glutes for lean and strong legs. Even in classes like these you will improve your posture! Improve your dynamic balance for functional daily life, increasing your eccentric strength in addition to your concentric strength. Heart strengthening. Energy boosting! Improve feet and ankle flexibility and strength. Low impact. Improve your coordination.
