*Equipment Needed : Reformer. (This exercise can also be performed on the Mat without any props or straps though it is a classical Reformer exercise.)

The Course of this Class : Coordination Pilates exercise, is likely not the easiest exercise or the most fluid when first learning but a fabulous CORE strengthener. Besides the choreography of each step movement this is all about coordinating your breath with each movement. In this How To tutorial, Kristi will cover 3 main things breaking down the hundred: 1) The benefits; 2) The set up; and 3) Each movement and breath. We hope that after this “how to” you will feel not only more confident, but also more at ease in performing this challenging exercise. Though difficult, it is INCREDIBLY effective, so don’t avoid practicing it! If you want flat abs, yes, this exercise repeated frequently, we promise, will dramatically help!
Pilates depends on certain technical foundations, understanding these better will set you up for success in your practice; protect you from injuring yourself; as well as teach you the best alignment your body can achieve! Plus, practicing with the right form, you’ll get A TON more out of the exercise, your level will increase quickly if you stick to it, and so will your results!
