Day 16: Full Body Tone Up workout plan in just 30 days!

Focus :   

This full body tone workout plan in just 30 days combines our upper body and lower body workouts into compound movement exercises today. We will also be targeting the core today so you can build on that core ab strength. Adding coordination and full body integration into each exercise you’ll increase your stamina, strength and improve balance and mind-body connectivity. These exercises tone and sculpt the whole body head to toe.

You’re in week 3 of our 30 day Strength Training for fat loss program, bravo! You should be feeling proud of yourself for sticking to this and stronger this week! This week we’ll continue to build on the strength we have been gaining. With this 30 day workout plan you will finish with a true full body tone up.

The addition of weights increases the deep toning of our muscles and the fat burn. This said, if you are new to Pilates or using weights, please leave them to the side while you get accustomed to the exercises. Once you are confident that you move with best alignment practices then go ahead and add them in! Form always over function.

Get ready to see change in your body as you commit to this 30 day program!

Equipment Needed :     

Reformer, 1 lighter set of dumbbells, 1 heavier set of dumbbells, the magic circle (or Pilates ring, whichever you call it), and the Reformer box. If you don’t have the box you’ll make the modifications to do the exercises without it.

Class Level :     

ALL levels. An intermediate level is taught but suggestions are given when the exercise might be too difficult on how to adapt it to you. Same, suggestions will be given most often with spring tension of how you can also increase the difficulty if needed. These classes are made so you can make these workouts your own!

The Course of this Class :   

Get ready to start standing with skaters, standing splits, warrior 2 and lunges. Then, we’ll take it to the floor for some intense and targeted ab work with the strap and the weight. Grab your circle and lie on your side to work all your lateral lines and your core. Next, pop up on all fours for some booty work while also getting the core. You’ll work your arms, shoulders, chest, upper back, core, abs, glutes, hamstrings, quads, everything today. Class moves at a moderate pace as each exercise takes a bit of set up today. Focus on the quality of your movement and really squeeze out the muscles to reshape and tone.
