Day 29: HIIT for Fat Loss, Cardio & Full Body Fitness Transformation
HIIT for fat loss and fitness transformation from overall body tone to shedding and shredding. You’ll hit your shoulders, triceps, chest and biceps, core, glutes, hamstrings, and legs. A great mix between cardio and strength training today from the beach. Note your progressions, and push yourself into the challenge each exercise, resist settling in and coasting! Above all, have fun today! You’ve made it!
As all our HIIT classes have been on the mat only, this class is for those who have been following the program on the Reformer as well. Enjoy the change up of the challenge for your body not having the machine! It’s great to work both, they offer different challenges.
Just a reminder for those jumping is not advised. Remember to simply step out these exercises, no worries.
Equipment Needed :
Class Level :
ALL levels. Note your progressions and push yourself. Too easy? Pick up the pace. Feeling too winded? Every day is different, listen to your body and slow it down a bit.
The Course of this Class :
We’ve got 3 rounds with 8 exercises. It’s going to go fast. We’ll alternate between counted reps and timed sequences. You have: Squat throws; jump rope; tricep kick backs; split jumps; kettle bell swings; push ups; sit ups; Russian twist. Focus on the muscle contraction for each strength exercise today, really concentrate on your center and your breath, don’t disengage by just rushing through. Then, concentrate on your speed and breath through the cardio exercises. A great HIIT for fat loss and strength training combined. Get your heart rate up today. Use your heaviest weights, your strength should have improved so make sure you are still feeling challenged. It shouldn’t be easy.
Now go hydrate well and stay that way till tomorrow’s stretch class, don’t skip it.
