Lower Body Lunge Party, Reformer Weighted Workout

Level: Intermediate

*Equipment Needed :      Reformer and Hand weights or Weighted Balls.

Focus :    Lower body focus with lots and lots of lunges to lean and tone the legs while at the same time working our core and arms moving through those lunges and plenty of planks. While under tension we’ll focus on our breath and coordination through fun and creative variations for a quick and effective workout on the Reformer today.

Class Level :     Intermediate on up.

The Course of this Class :     We get right to it by starting in a back skating lunge holding our hand weights and not the footbar! We’ll move through the center over to the other side before hopping up on the Reformer for some fun planks and knee pulls. We’ll finish with some spinal mobilization and foot work to cool down. This class moves at a steady pace.

Goals :      Build a stronger lower body in both strength and balance. Improve posture. Increase stamina. Tone and lean. Build a strong core as a stabilizer and stronger arms.
