Luscious Long & Lean Legs, Shape & Tone workout

Focus :

Another favorite and more of those spring sculpting, toning and leaning leg exercises on the Reformer Tower today. Using the marriage of the springs from each tether end, you’ll shape and strengthen, fine tune and tone your lower body and specifically your legs. A great workout to do on any day alone, or add to an upper body or core workout in the same day.

Equipment Needed :

Reformer/Tower and 2 long light weight or heavy weight (whichever you prefer) springs with straps for feet, and 2 short light weight springs attached to your roll down bar.

Class Level :

ALL levels.

The Course of this Class :

Class pace is moderate and steady. From foot work to legs in straps, bridging and side lying, each exercise is familiar and simple while we increase the depth of work by using 2 opposing pulls. We build the burn slowly, staying concentrated on slow and precise movement. Focus on your alignment and muscle initiation and control throughout today’s exercises. You’ll also get the chance to work your core, your arms and extend your spine. If you alternate your body focus each day, use this as your lower body day. If you tend to stick to more full body workouts, though we are leg focused, this workout is still great on its own as you will move your upper body a bit too.

Goals :

Shape and sculpt long lean leg muscle tone. Build the burn. Increase muscle control and definition. Improve alignment, posture, control and concentration. Lower body day. Maximize the benefits of the Reformer Tower combo using opposing pulls.
