Full body fun, this fit inspired online Pilates workout you can do from home, outdoors in a park or anywhere really. You’ll hit your triceps, upper back, shoulders and arms. Next, your core and abs, obliques and sides will be worked. Finally, strengthen quads, glutes, and hamstrings. No props are needed besides a mat. A quick enough flow to do on a very short day, or press play again and go through the routine 1-2 more times for a challenging and more advanced workout. Either way, once through or thrice, this is workout is total body integration. You’ll finish feeling very balanced.
Your Mat. (I will be using the rock near me so if you happen to be in a park and there’s a bench nearby, go for it! But if not, I’ll be giving you the mat version, so not to worry!)
Class pace today is methodical, slow and controlled as opposed to fast and quick. Thinking and breathing through each movement will be essential in today’s mat online pilates workout. Slow doesn’t mean easier, it’s often more of a challenge. So, we start with our tricep dips and leg extensions. Next, into our Up stretch with 3 point push ups. And on to split lunges with a single leg balance and then down onto the mat. Furthermore, this class is meant to be able to be tailored to what you are looking for. So whether you have little time today or more time, you can easily repeat it for 2 more rounds or combine it with another workout on our site!
Intermediate on up. A few of the moves are more advanced and do require a solid foundation and understanding of your posture and alignment, as well as breathing through movement. Remember that if you don’t find it difficult enough you can always repeat 2 more rounds.
Move prop free so we have something we can repeatedly come to if we are out traveling or simply where we don’t have our props and extra set up. Use our own body weight to train, build muscle, and more core strength. Improve form, mind-body connectivity and coordination. Just have fun moving together while we also move through possibly new exercises and sequences. Maintain health and fitness, just move. Increase blood flow.
