TODAY IS FUN! There’s gonna be some fun variations but first we start with “setting the stage” by warming up the whole system together. Upper, core and lower body all together, and then we move into lots of oblique and rotational work. Yes surprise, back to our diagonal system both front and back of body. And then for the fun stuff, some practice swings. Today is short, enjoy, have fun and come back and repeat!

Calling all pickleball lovers, tennis players and any other racket sports fans and fanatics! I know you are out there. Your sport gives you LOTS of fabulous variety and keeps you on your toes. But it is ALWAYS good to train off court in order to optimize your performance and your longevity in doing what you love most. So, that said, press play and workout with me here. These workouts and exercise routines are chosen with you specifically in mind. I will at the outset and throughout the workout explain WHY we are doing what we are doing, what it works on and how it helps YOU!! I hope this empowers you in your own practice and sport and that you will truly see and feel the difference. Remember these workouts are meant to be repeated over and over as your needs will remain the same. You’ll get enough variety to continually challenge your body while also capping on repetition so we can deepen our all body systems.

CLASS LEVEL :
Intermediate – advanced.
GOALS :
Learn from where you explode to generate velocity to your swings! Develop it! Hip, glute and pelvic strength and stability for more power in your play. Develop and build strength in rotational movements which also use velocity, protect your spine and move in best alignment with the right muscular support and firing patterns. Strengthen obliques and diagonal systems both front and back of body. Work on your swings. Reformer Pilates for racket sports, pickleball, tennis, whether you play occasionally or every day to optimize your performance, your power, your precision, your play and keep you protected from injury making sure you can do what you love for as long as you want. Support your sport/choice activity. Work cross crawl exercises and movements to improve the body’s intelligence system, balance, coordination, power, agility and total body integration. Improve your power base. Deepen your core strength 360 around your spine. Strengthen your vestibular system for more agility, mobility and quicker reaction times. Work the whole system using complex fitness (simply meaning dynamically moving exercises including coordination and more than one factor going on!). Learn proper biomechanics and why we do what we do, what it’s good for! Have fun working out, always! Educate and empower ourselves in our movement for more vitality, endurance and long lasting in life!
