reformer workout… *Equipment Needed : Reformer.
Focus : Get ready for a full unilateral workout! This means we will be working one side of the body at a time. This is awesome work because we are immediately communicating to the body THE WAY IT WORKS! You have 3 systems of X’s in your body called the Oblique and Posterior Slings. Think how many times you reach to pick something up and then bring it across your body to set it down. This is how the body transfers load. Summing up, working this way is intelligent because it is proven to help balance our asymmetries and NOT increase them! And also because it’s functional, meaning this applies to our every day activities so we can be stronger as much as prevent injury.
Class Level : Beginner – Intermediate.
The Course of this Class : Lots of leg, some core and shoulder work. Steady, moderate pace.
Goals : Today we are really training our bodies the way they are made to function, which means getting results, improving strength, and balancing imbalances in this reformer workout.
