Use weight training in addition to resistance training to build in more endurance and stamina into each muscle body and group, giving you more longevity overall in both your running and the body you live in as well as increasing your efficiency while running. Your muscles will have more strength and do better under pressure when adding weight training into your off road/off trail workouts. You’ll also work on balancing disproportionate musculature by working your upper body in today’s workout.

GOALS :
Reformer Pilates for runners, whether avid or leisurely runners. Support your sport/choice activity. Increase your endurance and stamina in each muscle group and in your body as a whole. Improve your longevity in your body and in your joints as a runner and even off track. Use weight training to improve bone density and prevent muscle loss. Balance your musculature. Work proprioception and dynamic balance. Improve core and upper body strength. Work complex fitness (simply meaning dynamically moving exercises including coordination and more than one factor going on!). Improve overall proportionality in the body, bringing balance to prevent strains, pulls and tugs on ligaments, tendons, bones or muscles which can be created due to imbalances.
