The Course of this Class :     Kristi guides us through the 3 traditional arm exercises in the Serve a Tray or also known as the Hug a Tree series on the Reformer. This How To tutorial will help you have a deeper and clearer understanding of how to 1) Set your posture 2) Use your breath and 3) Engage your core for greater ease of movement and in order to get that much more out of this series! Why not, right?! While this series is for the arms, typical Pilates style, it sneakily works our spinal upright posture, thereby targeting our entire core 360! Nice! The coordination of our breath will be key with our movement today, and ultimately this tutorial will set you up for success when performing this series in any of our workout sessions. Plus, this teaches how to coordinate your core and breath with arm movements which can be incredibly transforming for simply daily activities, helping us to move more efficiently, not put strain on our shoulders, and avoid injuries! Win-win!

Pilates depends on certain technical foundations, understanding these better will set you up for success in your practice; protect you from injuring yourself; as well as teach you the best alignment your body can achieve! And these principles today will apply to weight lifting, really anything with your arms!
