Pilates is an amazing method which offers much dynamic stretching while toning and strengthening. It’s why when we finish we often feel longer not just stronger, and there isn’t that stiffness the next morning that can often accompany our day’s prior weight session. That’s because it intelligently uses the body’s innate pully system in eccentric movement to create longer lines and more flexibility. In the meantime, muscles and ligaments are not over stretched or weakened. These classes will give extra emphasis to that stretch phase for when we just need more openness and length.
