Strong arms and upper body balance out a strong core and lower body. Today focuses on all things upper body: shoulders, arms, biceps, triceps, lats, shoulder supporters, even stronger wrists. If you struggle with tightness in your upper traps, this workout is great to release that tension as we build strength below and around the shoulder blades. You’ll also hit your obliques and core in today’s workout. Toning, sculpting and leaning exercises for a stronger upper body and lean muscle mass.
Remember that we are adding weights to this program in order to get those refining results with more lean muscle tone, definition and for fat burning. If you are new to weight lifting, start with bodyweight only. Once you are confident in each exercise and can hold proper alignment throughout then add the weights in.
Mat and 1 heavier set of dumbbells/hand weights, and a resistance band of medium to heavy strength.
Intermediate level taught, but modifications are given when needed, so this class is FOR EVERYONE! Listen to your body, make modifications or push harder when needed and get excited to see and feel the change!
Get ready for planks and more planks, so effective for building upper body strength and stamina, strong arms and strong shoulders. After this, we’ll move through a series of very classic weight lifting exercises. Again, you’ll work bicep curls, tricep dips and kick backs, overhead presses, chest presses and more. Look forward to finishing with lat pulls and a chest opener using your resistance band.
