Focus : Build a STRONGER BACK! We progress at a very moderate pace. Think toning, firming, and reshaping the backs of your arms, triceps, shoulders, upper back and upper body.
Class Level : Intermediate on up.
The Course of this Class : Seated tall rows, lots of them for the upper back. Then controlled isolated abdominal work. Next, kneeling abdominals, planks and side planks, and back to kneeling abs and arms.
Goals : A strong back isn’t just sexy, it’ll make you taller. There are so many weak and rounded backs out there today. So, let’s work our upper backs to sit and stand tall again! As a result, IF you have lumbar pain, this can be associated with a weak upper back; all the pressure gets jammed at the bottom of the spine.
Most importantly, this is for ALL of us! So, no more slouching or sinking into ourselves, no more forward hanging heads!
