Today we are lifting, training both upper and lower body, while using the Reformer at intervals to train our core as well as add cardio at the end of class. This is a great class to add into your more typical Reformer workouts in order to focus on lean muscle mass growth, maintenance and retention; bone strengthening; and anti-aging. Throughout these classes we focus on alignment and posture to empower you in your lifting and help you gain strength and confidence as well as get all the benefits.
A great class to take if you are interested in starting up, or are already, lifting weights. This type of exercises has a lot of science behind it showing the benefits to everyone, especially once over age 40. Maintaining lean muscle mass becomes more and more important, as well as it does maintaining dense and strong bones. This will also help burn fat and is an excellent form of exercise in tandem with our Pilates Reformer work.
