Our Pilates centering shifts our focus to the last 2 of our Pilates principles yet to cover: centering and concentration. It may seem a different combo, but I feel that as we concentrate we begin to move from our center around our spine outward. Try to turn off the phone and any distractions that are likely to pop into today’s class so that you can give yourself the best opportunity to flow through today’s session and really connect to your center!
We are nearing the end of our classical reformer program, we only have 2 days left, give it all you have today and begin to see how to weave all the prior principles together as well. All awareness on deck today.
The 6 principles of Pilates are:

Have fun today finding your pilates centering, how to really move from your center out in all our exercises, even if it isn’t an outright core exercise. We need to learn to actively keep our core on while mobilizing our extremities. Fine tune your practice today; and remember to continue weaving in all the other principles as well.
Improve mind-body awareness. Improve ability to move from center out. Increase and maintain core strength. Work on keeping concentration through a full session. Weave together all other principles also. Continue working through classical exercises and developing strength within. Full body strength.
