Favorite Advanced Pilates Reformer Routine

Focus : 

This advanced pilates reformer routine is one of my favorites because it is both athletic, creative and has a constant flow one exercise to the next. With a significance focus on core strength throughout today’s entire class, you’ll also be getting a total body workout. Focus is on coordination throughout each exercise, mind body connection, proprioception and fluidity. These exercises and this routine will effectively improve your muscle tone as well as strength, in addition to building power and control.

Equipment Needed : 

Reformer, the box, and a soft ball. All of class is taught with the box; if you do not have a box you should be able to do most of the exercises directly on the carriage without the box.

The Course of this Class :

Get ready to start strong with abs and arms up on the box. Off to planks and unilateral exercises, and oh so much more. The difficulty in today’s exercises lie in the creative variations, positioning, balance, coordination and strength to stabilize while mobilizing. You’ll move in all directions and planes. Class moves at an energetic pace while paying close attention to your postural set up and alignment in each exercise.
