Weighted HIIT Workout with Bosu ball

Focus : 

Workout with Bosu ball and HIIT your fat-burning, cardio and strength building all in one! Sculpt abs, connect the core, stronger glutes and hamstrings, as well as stronger shoulders, arms, triceps, and biceps. Combining sculpting and toning exercises with circuit training our workout today will build lean muscle tone throughout your entire body, while increasing your heart rate and your stamina. You’ll burn fat, build power, and have fun!

Equipment Needed : 

A mat, the bosu ball (if you’d like, you could possible substitute with a balance cushion), and a pair of hand weights. (I’ll be using 10lbs. each as today’s class is created to be able to lift heavier weights in order to really sculpt, define, tone and build muscle. You can however, by all means, use a lighter set of weights or no weights at all. Modify class for your needs and what is best for you. This is still a fabulous class without the weights! So don’t skip it!)

The Course of this Class :

We start with our ab exercises, core sculpting to set in our core strength and core connection to stabilize us throughout all our other quicker moves in class. From here we will move into more compound fit exercises like squats and planks, compound meaning using total body integration in all we do. These simple yet very functional movements, done in right alignment, tone and sculpt the whole body. Combine that with standing on the Bosu ball and we are hitting both the large muscle groups and all our underneath stabilizing muscles for a complete total body workout. Be ready for planks, jumping glute bridges, and mountain climbers. We finish today’s workout with the bosu ball with some nice spine stretches, mobilization and a chest opener.

Our pace today is moderate, low impact, not break neck speed, but fat-burning and muscle building.
